Microneedling

Microneedling
Microneedling can reverse superficial sun damage, such as fine lines and wrinkles, improve skin tone and texture, refine pores, and fade scars and stretch marks. This technique uses a handheld device with tiny needles that create micro-injuries in the skin while stimulating the body's natural healing process.
Don't worry; these injuries aren't painful and invisible to the naked eye. They then trigger the natural healing response, prompting your skin to produce new collagen and elastin to regenerate new, healthy skin cells. Some serums and products can be used during micro-needling to help treat pigmentation, rosacea, and wrinkles. Numbing cream is applied before treatment to take the edge off. Downtime is minimal and doesn't last more than three days. Three to five monthly sessions are all you need to reverse time!
What to expect during your treatment
Microneedling
Microneedling is mildly intense, so we apply a topical anesthetic to the treatment area about 30 minutes before the procedure. Once you're numb, your skin is cleansed and dried, and serum is applied based on the condition we're treating. In this form of treatment, we use different depths, depending on the skin type and the part of the face being treated. For instance, the skin on the forehead is thinner than the skin on the cheeks, so we'd start at about 0.5 mm and maybe go as deep as 1.5 mm over the cheeks. Once the areas have evened in bleeding and redness, the treatment is done.
Post Care
Microneedling
A sunburn-like effect is normal during post-treatment. The skin may feel tight, dry, and sensitive to the touch for about 24-48 hours. This vastly depends on your skin tone. These effects usually last about three days, though they can last for 12 days if your skin is treated aggressively. You can wash your face in eight hours (or earlier if your doctor recommends it). With makeup, you can be up and running in no time. You can go straight to work the very next day.
